Mincio Cycle Path: from Peschiera to Mantua via Borghetto
Distance: 41.3 km
Elevation gain: 62 m
Difficulty: Intermediate

A riverside route of rare beauty that follows the Mincio River through enchanting landscapes.
After leaving Peschiera, the route leads through Borghetto, Valeggio with its castle and the famous Sigurtà Park, arriving in Mantua, rich in Renaissance masterpieces.
Return: same route, or return by train or the APAM Sunday Bike Bus service.

 

South-East Cycle Path: through Lazise, Bardolino and Garda
Distance: 18.3 km

Difficulty: Easy – ideal for families

A flat route that embraces the lake’s eastern shore.

South-West Cycle Path: from Sirmione to Desenzano, between spas and castles
Distance: 20 km
Elevation gain: 75 m
Difficulty: Easy to Intermediate
Highlights:

  • Sirmione, with the Scaligero Castle and Grottoes of Catullus

  • Jamaica Beach, with crystal-clear waters

  • Desenzano del Garda, with its harbor and Roman mosaics

The perfect route for lovers of history and culture.
It crosses the Sirmione peninsula among medieval fortresses, natural thermal springs and Roman ruins, and reaches Desenzano, the vibrant heart of the southern lake.
Return: by land or boat, with an optional stop in Sirmione.
