L'Ontano
A wine that is more than a label, it tells a story.
he story of the land of the Frassino Oasis, where nature sets the rhythm and people listen. It is here, among centuries-old trees and shimmering reflections of water, that L'Ontano is born – a wine from a small vineyard nestled in greenery, cultivated with love and respect.
The grape varieties – Johanniter, Bronner, and Sauvignon Kretos – are PIWI (fungus-resistant) varieties selected for their natural resistance to common vine diseases such as downy and powdery mildew. Their resilience allows for a significant reduction in chemical treatments, avoiding the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.
Johanniter lends structure and freshness with citrus notes and light herbal hints; Bronner contributes aromatic complexity with green apple and white flower aromas; and Sauvignon Kretos, a resistant clone of Sauvignon Blanc, enhances the blend with elegance, minerality, and a touch of salinity.
The cultivation follows sustainable practices and is certified Biodiversity Friend, a recognition that ensures respect for flora, fauna, and the agricultural landscape, with particular attention to pollinators, water management, and ecological balance.
The result? A sip that reflects the spirit of the place: fruity and floral aromas, mineral freshness, balance, and intensitycome together in surprising harmony. Each bottle tells a story of passion for wine and a commitment to clean agriculture that honours life and the environment.
L'Ontano is more than just wine.
It’s an invitation to live consciously, choose with your heart, and protect what truly matters.
A glass for those seeking authenticity, ethics, and beauty – a sincere expression of who we are.
